My partner and I had just got off a flight at Frankfurt airport to transfer to a different plane to take us on to our eventual destination in Bavaria. We took this opportunity to quickly visit the first toilets we saw. By the time we were ready to leave this area, and go to look for our connecting flight, we were the only people around in the whole of those vast arrivals corridors. Seemed strange being in what we expected to be a busy airport and find ourselves in an apparently empty building. As there were no people around for us to bump into or trip over we could see that the whole area had beautifully kept brown marble floors with cream marble on the pillars. It all shone and gleamed like it had just been polished. Which, of course, it probably had. You don’t keep high traffic areas like that looking nice without correct maintenance.
This was all a big contrast to the (nameless) UK train station we had been through earlier in the week. Yes, there was marble to be seen and it was well in keeping with those old Victorian buildings. However, it’s maintenance really wasn’t up to the standard that would keep it looking the envy of all who surveyed it. Looked like mop and bucket were more the cleaners work tools there. It wasn’t age or the surroundings that was the problem either. There are other railway stations across the UK that have beautifully maintained marble. Perhaps it was just the way the staff at that particular station saw themselves.
So you see, the correct maintenance by people who really care and know how to look after this gorgeous stone is essential if you want it to be kept looking appreciatively and enviably good. Ok, you probably don’t have the same traffic through the marbled areas of your home or offices, at least I hope not. But from my example of extremes, it’s obvious that your marble needs to be looked after properly. So, take a good look at what you have and carefully consider if it is in need of some marble maintenance by people who really understand what they are doing. And then give Royal Stone Care a call.
